That is why Stewart Scott Cabinetry have only designers that have trained with the NKBA (National Kitchen & Bathroom Association (NZ) Inc). See below.

Heather Wood CKDNZ
Heather Wood is a NKBA Certified Kitchen Designer and Managing Director of Stewart Scott Cabinetry.
Her knowledge and experience in design and manufacturing, has been gained over 30 years in their family business.
In an industry which is ever changing, Heather keeps up to date with overseas design trends, products and manufacturing methods.
She has an inbred passion and flair for design which shows in the many successful kitchens she has created over the years and the glowing testaments and repeat business from her many clients.
“A kitchen that works well and looks great” gives Heather a great deal of satisfaction!
Lynsie Walsh-McDonnell CKD/CBDNZ
Lynsie is a NKBA Certified Kitchen and Bathroom designer with a solid background in design.
She began in the fashion industry but has always been interested in all aspects of design and colour
and that passion has taken her into the kitchen industry.
Lynsie loves to use her creative flare to design kitchens, bathrooms and laundries for today’s lifestyle.
Each project is unique and she will approach every new project by listening to her client’s individual requirements to achieve the very best solution.
Frances Robinson CMKD/CBDNZ
Frances works in conjunction with Stewart Scott Cabinetry as an Independent Designer offering a complete design service from her home based Franklin office.
Having trained as a Designer in the kitchen industry within manufacturing based companies for many years, has given Frances additional expertise in dealing with all facets of kitchen and bathroom design.
Her work is manufactured by Stewart Scott Cabinetry which guarantees her clients the highest quality of both workmanship and installation.
Stewart Scott designers hold either a Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) or Certified Bathroom Designer (CBD) qualification gained through the National Kitchen & Bathroom Society.
These internationally recognised qualifications ensure that there is a good blend of design, function and flair.
Being members of the Certified Designers Society (CDS) allows an up-to-date knowledge of new products and appliances and the latest building and renovation regulations.
National Kitchen and Bathroom Association (NKBA ) membership gives you, the client, the assurance that you are dealing with an industry professional and the peace of mind of knowing that the company you are dealing has been vetted by the organization.
The NKBA fosters and encourages excellence in design, manufacture and installation.
The term Certified Kitchen Designer and Certified Bathroom Designer must have had a minimum of four years practical experience within the industry and to have completed an extensive Education course and passed a rigorous examination, before the qualification can be awarded.
Adhering to a very strict code of professional conduct, the Certified Designer deserves your full confidence as certification is based on documented proof of knowledge, ability and experience in design.
